Reina Gattuso

Small Group Facilitator

Reina Gattuso (she/her) teaches Cultural Anthropology at Hunter College and is a PhD student in Cultural Anthropology at the CUNY Graduate Center. Reina was a Small Group Facilitator for the CUNY Climate Assembly Project on Waste at Hunter College (CCAP). Her dissertation research draws on her ongoing training in yoga and kathak Indian classical dance to examine the cultural, economic, and bodily politics of yoga tourism between India and Portugal. Reina’s culture and social justice journalism has appeared in outlets including Rewire News Group, Teen Vogue, and Curationist. Reina is proud to teach and learn with our NYC communities, and hopes to contribute to a truly free and open CUNY.
