Constance Zogzas

Post Assembly Fellow

Constance Zogzas is a part-time, second year Masters candidate studying Urban Planning at Hunter College. She’s passionate about improving public transit functionality, reducing car dependency, and promoting walkability and green space access in American cities. As a North Carolina native, she thought: what better city to learn from than the one that does it best?

A naturally curious, outgoing person, she thoroughly enjoyed participating as a delegate in the CUNY Climate Assembly on Waste at Hunter College. From this experience, she’s gained immeasurable knowledge on waste management that will no doubt be helpful in a career in city planning.

Before starting her Masters, she held a variety of roles. Her favorites were working as a ranch hand in Montana and as an English teacher in rural Spain. On her weekends, she volunteers at Prospect Park and works as a server at a farm-to-table restaurant in Brooklyn. She loves traveling, trying new foods, playing tennis, and cooking elaborate meals to share.
