Mark Alpert has degrees in Literature, Library Science, and Education. He began his career as a high school social studies instructor and has been teaching in the CUNY and NY and NJ state university systems for almost two decades. Currently, he focuses on literature classes, but also teaches composition/rhetoric, history, library science/information literacy, playwriting, and fencing. He has a betta fish named Dagon.
