Why are you excited to be part of this fellowship?

To be able to work with a team of experts who have tackled climate and environmental issues in New York City and gain the opporutnity to work increase my skillsets in policy-making. In doing so , I hope to take my strentghs to make equittable and trailblazing policy that will support and push the Garifuna Community here in NYC and in Honduras. 

What climate justice issue is most important to you and why?

Renewable Energy and Sustainable Transportation are important to me because the solutions are avaibale to us. We have the technology to make our NYC transportation sustainable, and reduce our carbon footprint. We just have to invest, and have the policies make applicable but also pushing the status quo.
