Matilda Curley

Matilda Curley is a current high school senior at The Brooklyn Latin School, and climate activist with Fridays for Future NYC, pursuing environmental engineering. Matilda has been a part of the NYU mLab, researching the security threats in K-12 educational technology, as well as the Huang Research Lab at Brown, researching mass spectrometry software. As a climate activist and born-and-raised New Yorker, Matilda has seen the different impacts of the climate crisis, from decreasing affordability to suspending public transit. Matilda is passionate about climate justice in NYC through both organizing for legislative change, and through scientific research.
