Katarzyna Krysiak
Katarzyna
Krysiak is an art historian and curator. She graduated from the Art History at the Faculty of Philosophy and History at
the University of Łódź. She has headed the Foksal Gallery in Warsaw as the
Chief curator since 2008, where she works since 2002.
She
curated there numerous exhibitions, including: Mirosław Bałka, Kuba
Bąkowski, Christian Boltanski, Irina Botea, Piotr Bosacki, Jonas Dahlberg,
Wojciech Gilewicz, Daniel Malone, Angelika Markul, Bianka Rolando,
Leon Tarasewicz, Nahum Tevet, L/B. Collaborated on organization of
shows by Allan Charlton, Stanislaw Dróżdż, Zuzanna Janin, Edward Krasiński and
Koji Kamoji, among others. She is an author of essays on contemporary art published
in exhibition’s catalogues. Member of the Polish Section of the International Association of Art
Critics AICA.
