Julia Robinson

Julia Robinson (Assistant Professor of Art History, New York University) was the curator of the exhibitions “John Cage & Experimental Art: The Anarchy of Silence” (2009) and New Realisms: 1957–1962: Object Strategies Between Readymade and Spectacle (2010) as well as a contributing author to their accompanying catalogues. She is interested in contemporary art ant curatorial practices, specifically performance and the changing functions of artist and media in the present.
