Ju Ly Ban
Lost & Found Archival Research Fellow
Ju Ly Ban (she/they) is a Ph.D. candidate in English at The Graduate Center, CUNY. Her research centers on Theresa Hak Kyung Cha, Black queer feminist thought, and questions of literary kinship. She teaches in the Department of English at Baruch College, CUNY. Her writing, translation, and archival research have appeared or are forthcoming in the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture and Women’s Studies Quarterly. Ban is also the author and director of JULY PO BOX, a multilingual letter project (www.julyban.com). She serves on the Board of Directors of CLAGS: The Center for LGBTQ Studies.
