Diana Knight

Diana Knight is professor of French at the University of Nottingham, UK. She has written extensively on Roland Barthes, as well as nineteenth-century French fiction. Her publications include Structuralism Utopian and Scientific, S/Z, Realism and Compulsory Heterosexuality, Barthes and Orientalism, Roland Barthes in Harmony, and the edited volume Critical Essays on Roland Barthes.
