Please join us in the gallery for Walter Benjamin’s lecture delivered especially for the current exhibition A Story of Two Museums: An Ethnographic Exhibition. Benjamin’s lecture examines the uniqueness and chronology of objects on display in two types of collections: wunderkammers and museums. The talk will take up the early years of the Museum of Modern Art’s travelling exhibitions across Europe as well as the workshop and current displays of Museum of Jurassic Technology in Los Angeles.
