
Writers and graduating students from CUNY’s four MFA Programs in Creative Writing (City College of New York, Brooklyn College, Hunter College, and Queens College) come together for readings of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction at the Graduate Center. They will be joined by poet Meena Alexander, author of six books of poetry including Illiterate Heart (2002), and Distinguished Professor of English at the Graduate Center, CUNY; and playwright Richard Schotter, author of Medicine Show (1975) and professor of English at Queens College, CUNY.
MFA candidate readers will be Nicholas Neely (Hunter College); Suzanne Lunden (Hunter College); Jonathan Kravetz (Queens College); Kate Mooney (Queens College); Thomas Heyman (City College of New York); Jon Gabay (City College of New York); Ellen Adams (Brooklyn College); William Burke (Brooklyn College).
