After the workshops, craft classes, and the solitary work of writing—what is next? In this series, agents, editors, and grant committee members will address the nuts and bolts of a post-MFA writer’s career. In the first installment, join poet and professor Kimiko Hahn in conversation with Ira Silverberg, strategic advisor to Open Road Integrated Media and adjunct faculty member at the Columbia University MFA Writing Program. From his unique position, Silverberg will address the great transition in the publishing industry—digitization, consolidation, industry battles, independent presses—and more.
Cosponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs and the CUNY MFA Affiliation Group.
