Join us for an evening celebrating the groundbreaking work of Taylor Mac, whose marathon show A 24-Decade History of Popular Music was a major event of 2016. (“One of the greatest experiences of my life” – Wesley Morris, New York Times.) Mac receives the Edwin Booth Award, given annually by the Doctoral Theatre Students’ Association to honor outstanding contributions to the NYC theatre community. Featuring live performances and a discussion with Frank Hentschker, executive director of the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center.
