Kyoo Lee (Assistant Professor of Philosophy at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, CUNY), also affiliated faculty for the Gender Studies, Interdisciplinary Studies and Justice Studies Programs, teaches Feminist Theory for the Women’s Studies Certificate Program at The Graduate Center, CUNY. Her forthcoming book, Reading Descartes Otherwise, explores Cartesian alterities such as blindness, madness, dreaminess and badness, in that order. As a Resident Mellon Fellow at The Center for the Humanities, The Graduate Center, CUNY, she has started working on a book provisionally titled Familial Alterities.
