Viktor Timofeev works across generative video, painting, installation and sound, frequently combining the mediums to create semi-fictional environments. He received his MFA at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam and his BFA at Hunter College in New York. Recent solo exhibitions include God Room at Alyssa Davis Gallery, New York (2018); Stairway to Melon at kim? Contemporary Art Center, Riga (2017); and S.T.A.T.E. at Drawing Room, London (2016). Recent group exhibitions include Unexpected Encounters at Arsenāls exhibition hall at the Latvian National Museum of Art (2019); Digital Gothic at Synagogue de Delme, Delme (2019); A Barbarian In Paris at Fondation Ricard, Paris (2018); and Somewhere In Between at Bozar, Brussels (2018).
