Sonia Adams is an educator, writer, curriculum consultant and social justice advocate. Her scholarship centers on Contemporary American Multicultural and Global Literatures, Black Feminism, and Black Indigenous and Multicultural Studies. Ms. Adams’ dissertation-in-progress explores Black women’s writings from England, Canada, Australia, and the United States. She currently services students at Queensborough Community College’s Center for Tutoring and Academic Support and teaches Global Literature at St. John’s University.
