Lisa Corinne Davis is a painter and associate professor of Art, Painting, and Combined Media at Hunter College, CUNY. She has had solo exhibitions of her work in New York at June Kelly Gallery, Lesley Heller Workspace, Von Lintel Gallery and Gavin Spanierman. Her work is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the J. Paul Getty Museum, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Reviews of her work have been featured in the New York Times, Art in America and ArtNews. Davis is the recipient of numerous awards, including The Louis Comfort Tiffany grant, a National Endowment for the Arts Visual Artist Fellowship, and two New York Foundation for the Arts Visual Arts Fellowships. She has taught at Parsons School of Design, Cooper Union School of Art, and Yale University.
