Kleber Amancio

Kleber Amancio holds a B.A. in History from the State University of Campinas (2006), an M.A. in Social History from the University of São Paulo (2010) and a Ph.D. in Social History from the University of São Paulo (2016). He was a visiting researcher at Harvard University from 2014 to 2015. His principal research focus is History of Brazil in the 19th and 20th centuries. He has published on topics such as the history of Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, slavery, abolition, post-abolition, literature and art. He is currently Professor at the Federal University of the Recôncavo of Bahia.
