Emmy Mikelson is an artist and curator based in Brooklyn. She works predominantly in sculpture and video, using animality and macabre abstractions to explore anxiety and paranoia. Her work has been exhibited at Jack Tilton Gallery, NY; the International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP), Brooklyn, NY; Paul Robeson Galleries, Rutgers University, NJ; DiVA Fair Miami and the Bridge Art Fair, London. She has curated for the lower east side gallery, NY Studio Gallery, as well as assisting with the exhibition and publication for the James Frazer Stirling retrospective at the Yale Center for British Art. She currently teaches in the Fine Art Department at Pace University, New York, NY.
