David Caicedo is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Psychology, Social-Personality subprogram, at the City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center in New York, NY. He is also a full-time professor in the Department of Social Sciences at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). Caicedo's research interests include psycho- and sociolinguistics, migration and Latino studies, intergroup relations, and political ideology. His current work involves investigating the psychological basis of language policy, in order to address immigration reform legislation in the United States.
