Damir Arsenijevic, a visiting Fulbright scholar from Bosnia at UC Berkeley, is an International cultural worker, critic, theorist, scholar, and translator working in the fields of cultural, gender, and literary studies. His research and art-theory political interventions examine and impact on the terror of inequality, knowledge production, and material memories of war and genocide. He holds a PhD in English Literature and Cultural Studies from De Montfort University, Leicester, UK, a Member of the Board of Directors of the Tuzla-based Grad-Centre for Research, Art and Civic Engagement, a and Member of the artistic-theory Grupa Spomenik (Belgrade, Tuzla, Rijeka, Berlin, San Francisco). He is co-founder of the international platform Yugoslav Studies—a production space for the interaction of art, theory, education, and politics.
