Damaly Gonzalez is in the Latin American, Caribbean, and Latino Studies track with a focus on Public Policy. Her work is on gentrification in predominantly Latinx and Black communities across the United States. She obtained her B.A. in Music, Media, and Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Hunter College. Damaly is serving as the Program Representative for M.A. Liberal Studies in the Doctorate and Graduate Student Council and on the Student Services Committee, 2018-2019. In 2017, she was a NYCHA Environmental Ambassador through GrowNYC where she educated residents on recycling.
