Claudia Moreno Pisano is a doctoral candidate in English at the CUNY Graduate Center, working in the field of American Studies. She is currently teaching literature courses at Hunter College. In the past several years she has taught as an adjunct lecturer at several CUNY colleges, worked for various activist, research, and poetry non-profit organizations, and edited a small arts-centered magazine. She is a native Brooklynite.
