Alissa Quart is a poet, non-fiction writer and the executive editor of the Economic Hardship Reporting Project, a non-profit devoted to reporting on inequality. Quart's first poetry book Monetized (Miami University Press) was published in 2015. Her non-fiction books include the forthcoming Squeezed (Ecco/HarperCollins), Republic of Outsiders, and Branded.
