Textures of Feminist Perseverance exhibition artists host an informal evening of storytelling and 'zine-making

For the first part of this evening, artist Langdon Graves will tell stories as she reads from her sets of handmade cards. Her Home Circle (2022) series are hand-printed Caligo ink cards with images inspired by the colors of the desert of Southern Arizona as well as drawings of objects that conjure memories of stories of the artist's grandmother.

Then with prompts and hands-on materials provided by artists Natalie Moore and Dina Weiss, we will make informal 'zines about stories of our own choice. Many of the exhibition artists will be present for this informal evening of experimentation, stories, fun, and curiosity.

As part of the multi-venue exhibition Textures of Feminist Perseverance, this program is in partnership with Cuchifritos Gallery + Project Space/ Artists Alliance Inc.
