About this Graduate Center Grad B position

Women’s Studies Quarterly (WSQ) seeks a CUNY Graduate Center doctoral student for an Assistant Editorial position for the 2023-2024 academic year, with the option to renew for a second year. WSQ is a peer-reviewed feminist interdisciplinary journal featuring academic articles, art, prose and poetry engaging emerging issues in women, gender, and sexuality studies. The journal is published by the Feminist Press with support from the Center for the Humanities and the Center for the Study of Women and Society at the CUNY Graduate Center.

Grad B Editorial Assistant to Women’s Studies Quarterly duties and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will

Hours: 10 hours a week.

Starting Salary for a CUNY GC Grad B is $13,215, but if a candidate has been a Grad B before, they will be put at their own current Grad B level.

If already a GCF, one can still receive the Grad B funds through Financial Aid. If one is a tuition-only fellow, the Provost’s Office staff who manage the graduate assistant appointments will follow up regarding the dates and process for the Human Resources Onboarding for current students.
