Zico Abhi Dey
Web Development Intern
Zico Abhi Dey is an aspiring scholar in the field of Digital Humanities and Computer Science currently completing MA at The Graduate Center, CUNY. With an MSc in Applied Computer Science from Georg August Universität, Germany, Zico specializes in programming, data analysis, and machine learning. His experience spans IT support, research assistance, and full stack developer. Recognized for his contributions to the field, Zico has received the Digital Humanities Award 2023 for Best DH Training Materials, showcasing his commitment to education and knowledge sharing in the digital humanities community. Zico has also served as a Program Representative for the Doctoral and Graduate Students Council at The Graduate Center, CUNY, facilitating communication between DGSC and Digital Humanities students.
At NYC Climate Justice Hub, Zico will code and format the Classes & Curriculum website and assist with the official website’s launch and updates. Zico is thrilled to join the Hub, seeing it as an opportunity to apply his technical skills to critical environmental issues. He hopes to gain insights into climate justice initiatives and contribute to community education efforts.
