Rozanne Gooding Silverwood

Rozanne Gooding Silverwood is a student of Columbia University’s Oral History BA/MA program while completing her undergraduate degree in Cultural Anthropology. Ms. Silverwood’s anthropological research combines auto-ethnography and historical analysis of family archival material related to her Native American ancestry to unearth uncanny evidence of the erasure and resurgence of indigenous identity as expressed through such cultural knowledge systems as sense of place, language, ceremony, foodways, and kinship.
