Rachel Blau DuPlessis

Rachel Blau DuPlessis, Professor Emerita, Temple University, is the author of the long poem Drafts, and of several critical books on poetry and on gender, including Purple Passages: Pound, Eliot, Zukofsky, Olson, Creeley and the Ends of Patriarchal Poetry (University of Iowa Press, 2012). She edited The Selected Letters of George Oppen(1990). A feature in Jacket2 on her work, edited by Patrick Pritchett, was posted in October 2011. In spring 2012, she will be a Distinguished Visitor at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
