Michael Villanova

Lost & Found Archival Research Fellow

Michael Villanova is pursuing a PhD in political science from the CUNY Graduate Center. His background is in political theory, and he researches critical theory, reactionary politics, queer theory, urban politics, and American political thought. In the past he has written about Karl Marx and the lumpenproletariat, Thomas Paine and gerontocracy, and David Wojnarowicz and (anti-)sovereignty. He has taught at several campuses around New York City, including Lehman College and Baruch College.
