Marcos Bernal-Salas

Marcos Bernal-Salas is a senior lecturer with CUNY in the College Now department at Bronx Community College. Through his involvement and commitment to education, he has excelled within the CN program and its objective: to bring college awareness and preparation for high school students.

In his current life, as a higher education professional, he continues to explore two important ideas: the English language and the importance of its use in academia or everyday life. He has taught ESL for adults with SUNY, at Westchester Community College, and private institutions, as well as ELA in CUNY with Lehman College, Queens College, and Journalism at Hunter College’s Continuing Education programs. His experience in media and film affirms a multi-talented career from working with TV networks, film producing, to writing for arts and entertainment online outlets such as Examiner.com. His entrepreneurial passion spearheaded his own websites: Skuawk! and Marcoswrites.com – the latter a movie review and news site.
