Lyrae Van Clief-Stefanon
Lyrae Van Clief-Stefanon is the author of Open Interval, a National Book Award finalist and finalist for the L.A. Times Book Prize, and Black Swan, winner of the 2001 Cave Canem Poetry Prize. She is co-author, with Elizabeth Alexander, of the chapbook Poems in Conversation and a Conversation. Her work has appeared in journals and anthologies including African American Review, Crab Orchard Review, Callaloo, Shenandoah, Bum Rush the Page, Common Wealth, and The Ringing Ear: Black Poets Lean South. She is associate professor of English at Cornell University.
