Luke Rodriguez

Climate Justice Hub Fellow

Luke Manuel Rodriguez is a rising Junior at Baruch College, studying economics and environmental sustainability. He hopes to pursue a career advancing climate solutions throughout the financial services sector. Born and raised in Jersey City, Luke is the second oldest of four brothers. In his free time, he enjoys playing bass, volleyball, and skateboarding around the city. This July, Luke was featured on CUNY TV’s ‘Sustainability Matters’ for his documentary: “Roots and Resilience,” which addresses the unequal access to trees and greenspace in NYC. This summer Luke is working as an intern at J.P. Morgan and Chase on the Trade & Working Capital Sales team. Here, he researches power purchase agreements for renewable energy, as more businesses commit to sourcing clean power. During his time as a Climate Justice Hub Fellow, Luke hopes to learn through his incredible peers and talented faculty, while strengthening his leadership skills along the way.
