Lee Ann Brown

Lee Ann Brown’s books of poetry include Polyverse and The Sleep That Changed Everything. She lives in New York City where she teaches poetry at St. John’s University and in Marshall, NC, where she directs the French Broad Institute (of Time & the River), a space for poetry and performance. She is publisher of Tender Buttons, which publishes experimental poetry by women, and has held fellowships with Teachers & Writers Collaborative, Yaddo, Djerassi, the MacDowell Colony and the International Center for Poetry in Marseille, France and the Howard Foundation.
