Leah Souffrant
Leah Souffrant, M.F.A., Ph.D., is a poet and critic. Souffrant holds a Ph.D. in English from the Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY), an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the Bennington Writing Seminars, and a B.A. in Russian Literature from Vassar College. Souffrant teaches at New York University. Souffrant’s book Plain Burned Things: a poetics of the unsayable is forthcoming in 2016.
