Judy Sund
Judy Sund, who earned her PhD in art history at Columbia University, is a scholar of European and U.S. art of the modern period (late 17th to early-20th centuries) and, secondarily, the Pre-Conquest Americas. Her longtime interest in Euroamerican representations of Otherness is reflected in her current book project: a panhistoric survey of exoticisms in Western art under contract to Phaidon.
