Ismerlyn Gonzalez

Data Visualization Intern

Ismerlyn Gonzalez is a master’s student in the CUNY Graduate Center’s Data Analysis and Visualization program. Born to Dominican immigrants, Ismerlyn developed a passion for advancing socio-economic equity for youth of color throughout her educational career. She currently works in education research and evaluation. In her time with the Hub, Ismerlyn is excited to learn more about the role that data serves in the Hub’s mission to advance climate justice for NYC’s communities of color. She also looks forward to collaborating with the Hub’s staff on research analysis and design, and hopefully starting her pivot towards working in the climate justice space upon completing her graduate program.
