Hilton Als

Hilton Als is a staff writer for The New Yorker Magazine. He became the magazine’s drama critic in 2013. He is the author of two books–The Women, published by Farrar, Straus, and Giroux in 1996, and White Girls, published by McSweeney’s in 2013. His work also appears in the New York Review of Books.
