Gwendolyn Shaw
Gwendolyn Merrick Shaw is a doctoral student in the Art History program at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. She is also an Instructional Technology Fellow at Macaulay Honors College and the IRADAC/Schomburg Digitization Fellow for 2014-15.
Her areas of interest include the body, corporeality, trauma and violence, critical race theory, and gender and sexuality theory in art since 1900, as well as the pedagogy of art history and the humanities. In addition to her Ph.D., she is earning doctoral certificates in Women’s Studies, Film Studies, American Studies, Africana Studies, and Interactive Technology and Pedagogy.
