Daniel Horowitz

Daniel Horowitz is a teacher, poet (sometimes picture poet) and a doctoral student at the CUNY Graduate Center studying modernist and ecological poetics and aesthetics. He has worked on oral history projects in Mississippi and Louisiana and taught children there how to garden, fumble and wonder in the swamp. As Reznikoff wrote, “Wasn’t knowledge first on trees?”
