Claire Dauge-Roth is a poet, textile artist, and PhD student in Comparative Literature at the CUNY Graduate
Center. Dauge-Roth’s research assembles late twentieth century abstract and experimental poetry, woven text,
and artist books to reconsider the relationships between memory, translation, and the pre-lingual gap. Most
recently, Dauge-Roth’s poetry appeared in Ethics Magazine and her weaving, transmission I: spit with sonic weather, was featured in Notch Magazine.
