Amalle Dublon
Amalle Dublon is a PhD candidate in the Program in Literature at Duke University. Her dissertation brings questions of sound and aurality to bear on queer and feminist theory. She is particularly interested in questions of (musical) flavor, fatness, and form; reproduction in all its valences; and dependency, in both its causal and social senses. Amalle has taught courses on sound, media, film, art, race, and gender, at the New School, NYU, Temple University, and the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College. She serves on the editorial board of Women & Performance: a journal of feminist theory, and lives in Brooklyn, NY.
