Alyx Raz is an Assistant Curator at the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center, Vassar College and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Hunter College, CUNY. They earned their BA at Vassar College, MFA at UMass Amherst, and are a current PhD student at the Graduate Center, CUNY. They are a recipient of an Academy of American Poets Prize, and a previous finalist for Iowa Review’s Poetry Prize, Georgia Review’s Loraine Williams Poetry Prize, Omnidawn’s Book Contest, and Nightboat Books’ Poetry Book Prize. Their work and research chronicles modern and contemporary lyric practices across media and moving image.
