The NYC Environmental Justice Alliance (NYC-EJA) is looking to hire 6 Climate Justice Hub Advocates to support the NYC Climate Justice Hub! The NYC Climate Justice Hubwas established in 2023 in partnership with the NYC Environmental Justice Alliance (NYC-EJA) and the City University of New York (CUNY). The NYC Climate Justice Hub seeks to expand climate and environmental research, policy analysis, advocacy resources and project opportunities for the communities most exposed to and burdened by climate and environmental risks.
The NYC Climate Justice Hub re-thinks the role and relationships academic institutions can play in the struggle for climate and environmental justice being led by frontline communities. NYC-EJA’s partnership with CUNY will connect CUNY schools, faculty and students interested in climate research, environmental equity, and policy advocacy with selected NYC-EJA member organizations to provide support both for NYC-EJA’s innovative City and State policy and advocacy work, as well as members’ neighborhood priority projects.
