Jack Spicer’s Beowulf from Lost & Found wins 2016 Howell D. Chickering Prize in Translation

We are pleased to announce that Lost & Found: The CUNY Poetic Document Initiative’s publication Jack Spicer’s Translations of Beowulf edited by David Hadbawnik and Sean Reynolds has been awarded the 2016 Howell D. Chickering Prize in Translation.
The Howell D. Chickering Prize in Translation is awarded to the best translation of an Old English work in 2016 by the Old English Newsletter published for the Old English Division of the Modern Language Association of America by the Department of English at The University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
