This new piece created specifically to be performed in the space of theISO 6346: ineluctable immigrant exhibition at the James Gallery continues choreographer Hadar Ahuvia’s exploration of appropriation, translations, and transmissions of Israeli folk dance. Ahuvia will premiere a new work at Danspace Project in May. She has performed her works at Judson, Dance Theater Workshop/New York Live Arts, and 14th Street Y.
